About Rose Marie

Rose Marie BeaucheminRose Marie Beauchemin, director of education and a highly trained permanent cosmetic specialist, uses state-of-the-art, highly sophisticated equipment to create amazingly natural eyebrows, eyeliner, lip reshaping and color, areola complex tattooing and permanent scar camouflage for her clients.

Ms. Beauchemin, as a world-recognized expert in micropigmentation, brings over 30 years of experience in makeup artistry, facial morphology, color theory and analysis, and paramedical cosmetics to both her client procedures and permanent cosmetics training. Rose Marie attracts trainees from around the globe, including physicians, medical staff, as well as lay people. She is an approved trainer of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP), as well as a certified trainer, Founding Board Member, and Diplomat of the American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM).

Ms. Beauchemin’s professional background in full make-over artistry has always included solutions for every esthetic need, from color analysis, cosmetic artistry, and hair design, to wardrobe engineering and paramedical cosmetics. After many years of owning and operating beauty salons, Ms. Beauchemin began to market her own brand of cosmetics and concealers. As a makeup artist, Rose Marie demands a great deal from permanent cosmetics. She wants to see natural looking hair movement and dimension in brows and accurate color in all procedures.

Ms. Beauchemin’s frequently receives recognition as being a leading expert in her field, as noted in the medical text, Micropigmentation: State of the Art by Dr. Norman Goldstein, Dermatologist, University of Hawaii and Dr. Charles Zwerling, Ophthalmologist, North Carolina. Her expertise is sought by several industry publications, including Cosmetech and Nouvette magazines where she is a contributing writer. She has served as Editor of Micropigmentation Journal and MicroNews, premier publications of the American Academy of Micropigmentation where she contributed articles, photographs, and case studies to help advance the field.

Rose Marie’s rich background in makeup artistry and wardrobe engineering attracts corporate giants such as McDonald’s, Subaru of America, and The Four Seasons Hotel. For McDonalds, Rose Marie diagnosed the problem with their old uniforms, the color was extremely unflattering to most skin types. She worked with McDonalds to find a more universally flattering color. Similarly, Provident National Bank and The Four Seasons Hotel called on her to orchestrate their spousal programs with wardrobe and color presentations and full makeovers. For Subaru of America, Rose Marie designed a Dress for Success and Power Dressing program. In addition to her wardrobe engineering workshops held throughout the country, Ms. Beauchemin is often invited to conferences as a keynote speaker where she dynamically presents on topics such as marketing, color theory, and permanent cosmetic procedures.

Ms. Beauchemin devotes much of her time to developing helpful beauty-enhancing techniques for the blind and visually impaired, including wardrobe matching, tricks for foolproof makeup application, and a color vocabulary that allows them to shop independently for flattering clothing. One of her programs was successfully tested at J.C. Penny Department Store where it enabled people who are blind to independently shop for wardrobes that are well-coordinated, interchangeable, and in flattering colors. The unique programs she designed and taught at the Associated Services for the Blind in Philadelphia earned her a nomination for the prestigious Thomas Jefferson Award, awarded by Thomas Jefferson Hospital and University for outstanding volunteer contributions.

With such a rich career in esthetic solutions, Ms. Beauchemin demands a great deal from permanent cosmetics. She expects accurate color in all procedures, natural-looking hair movement and dimension in brows, and complimentary, not overpowering, color in lips. Her high expectations are their own reward, as Rose Marie says, “I am still in awe at the beauty that can be created with cosmetic tattooing and the impact it can have on an individual’s life. I never tire of watching these transformations and the exhilaration they create. I feel blessed to have found this profession, and it gives me great pleasure to share with those who are interested in learning.”
