*At the end of your permanent makeup training you will receive your certificate along with instructions regarding your state requirements. We always recommend that you do your research prior to the start of your training*
This training is the building block and required for all future trainings. Combination of online interactive and in-house training.
**Our program follows the guidelines of the American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM) and Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP) which are 6 days and 100 hours of training that include home study, classroom, and hands-on training. All of our trainers are Certificated Micropigmentation Instructors (CMI) under the AAM. Upon completion of training, you will be presented with an open-book test and a certificate of completion.**
Permanent Makeup Training Breakdown:
Part 1 -Online interactive Primary Training. Learn from the comfort of your own home during our 3 day interactive training with our expert-board certified instructors. Prior to the start of your permanent makeup training you will receive your Bishop PMU Pen & Power Supply, Reference Manual and training materials to prepare you for your online training. Our trainer will guide you through the theory and fundamentals of permanent makeup during these 3 days.
Part 2 - Once you have completed your 3 days on line training you will come in for hands-on training. During your hands on you will perform 6 procedures, 2 brows, 2 eyeliner and 2 lips. We provide the models and supplies needed during your training.
We have a 2 to 1 instructor/student ratio. Our instructors will be there to guide you through each procedure. We will teach you six (6) PMU techniques: Traditional Eyeliner, Lash Enhancement, Traditional Brow, Powder Brow, Traditional Lip Line & Shading and Lip Blushing. You will learn how to consult with clients, prepare and review your client intake forms, color theory, needle selection, cross contamination - everything you need to start your career in permanent makeup.
