Can a beauty mark make you look sexier

I am a firm believer in giving back to the community, especially at the grassroots level. There’s nothing like the feeling of generously contributing to those around you who are need of your help in some way.
We all entered this profession wanting to make a difference. We have the valuable opportunity to give women back something they lost — something that helped them identify their womanhood and feel in touch with their femininity. 3-D areola tattooing is a life-changing procedure for so many breast cancer survivors. The importance of this procedure is what inspired us to create the Beau Day of Hope! This is our ninth year, and we are thrilled with what we have been able to accomplish, which is in large part thanks to the support we have received along the way.
It is so exciting to not only have this event for our survivors, but to see the businesses in our community eager to participate. We’ve received donations of breast cancer ribbon shaped bagels from Panera, wraps from Pat’s Steak, gift certificates for facials and services from local salons, and much more. In addition, a local boutique donated beautiful gifts for our gift bags, and on the day of, random people in the area who read about the day stopping by to donate food and other items. And all of this doesn’t even include our incredible staff at Beau, who work tirelessly to make this event as incredible as it is each year.
One of the most rewarding parts of this event is witnessing our local survivors connect with one another and make new friends. Watching them sit around the luncheon table and chat just warms my heart. We have even had an appearance from the Survivors Dragon Boat Team! They showed up in full regalia and it was overwhelmingly beautiful.
Throughout my experience, I have learned that countless breast cancer survivors have chosen not to have areola tattooing. Year after year, I hear that they just could not do one more thing. They’d had enough!
Many of these women also incorrectly believed it would take an additional surgery to complete the areola complex. With our 3-D tattooing, we can create the effect of the nipple protrusion without an additional surgery.
Our biggest challenge has been finding the women who would benefit greatly from this procedure. I began by sending packets with my bio and previous work to local hospitals and surgical centers. Referrals began to pour in. Now, many physicians refer patients to us not just on the Day of Hope, but throughout the entire year. We also offer three-dimensional areola tattooing to breast cancer survivors during our advanced areola training classes.
Each year, we also reach out to local salons with flyers and send email blasts to our existing clients. Social media has been a great asset in sharing our message to those in need of this procedure.
